Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with Homeschool Languages, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We care deeply about the quality of our products and your experience with them. Please review this policy carefully before completing your purchase.

By placing an order through our Shopify store, you agree to the terms below.


1. Digital Products (No Refunds)

Due to the nature of digital products — including downloadable materials, digital curriculum, and online access — all digital product sales are final and non-refundable.

Once access has been granted or files have been delivered, we cannot revoke access or issue refunds.

Please review product descriptions carefully before purchasing.


2. Physical Products – 14-Day Limited Return Policy

We offer a limited 14-day return window for physical products.

You may request a return within 14 days of delivery if:

  • The item is unused

  • The item is in original condition

  • The item is in original packaging

To request a return, email hello@homeschoollanguages.com with your order number.

Important:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

  • We reserve the right to deny returns that show signs of use or damage.

  • Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or denial.


3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is:

  • Damaged in transit

  • Defective

  • Incorrect

You must contact us within 7 days of delivery at:

Please include:

  • Order number

  • Description of the issue

  • Clear photos of product and packaging

At our discretion, we may offer:

  • A replacement

  • Store credit

  • Another appropriate resolution

We reserve the right to deny claims submitted after 7 days or without adequate documentation.


4. Shipping & Risk of Loss

All physical products are shipped through third-party carriers.

Once your order has been transferred to the carrier, risk of loss transfers to you as the buyer.

We are not responsible for:

  • Carrier delays

  • Lost packages

  • Shipping damage caused by carriers

However, we will make reasonable efforts to assist you in filing a carrier claim when appropriate.


5. Refund Processing (If Approved)

If a refund is approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

  • Processing time depends on your financial institution or payment provider.

Payments processed through Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal are subject to those providers’ timelines and policies.

We are not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment processors.


6. Order Cancellations

Orders may not be canceled once:

  • They have been processed,

  • They have been shipped, or

  • Digital access has been granted.

If you contact us immediately after placing your order, we may attempt to cancel it before fulfillment begins, but cancellation is not guaranteed.


7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We are committed to resolving issues directly and fairly.

If you have a concern, please contact us before initiating a chargeback or dispute.

Initiating a chargeback or PayPal dispute without first contacting us may result in:

  • Suspension or revocation of digital access

  • Refusal of future service

  • Submission of documentation to contest the dispute

  • Collection efforts if fraud is suspected

We maintain transaction records, shipping confirmations, and digital access logs for dispute resolution purposes.

Fraudulent chargebacks may result in further action as permitted by law.


8. PayPal & Accelerated Checkout Disputes

If you use PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, or Google Pay:

  • You agree to first contact us directly before opening a dispute.

  • We will cooperate with payment providers during any formal dispute process.

  • Abuse of dispute systems may result in denial of future purchases.


9. Late or Failed Payments

If any payment remains outstanding beyond agreed terms:

  • We may suspend digital access.

  • Interest may accrue as permitted under our Terms & Conditions.

  • Accounts may be sent to collections if unpaid.


10. Shopify Platform Notice

Our store is hosted by Shopify Inc. All transactions are processed securely through Shopify’s checkout system and supported payment providers.

By completing a purchase through our store, you agree to Shopify’s applicable terms and payment processing standards in addition to our own policies.
